First off, let me start by saying that if this damn job I have -- teaching -- wasn't there I could write waaaaaay more often. Dumb job!

So as of late, I have had a craving for meat. Something healthy like chicken. For those of you who know me, you know that I have been a vegetarian for the last 18 years or so. I have had these sorts of cravings in the past, but they usually subside after a day or two. This time it's a bit different, it's not going away. So, more changes in my life!

In the past, it has been my stance that, "I am a vegetarian and will stay one until I die'. I have recently begun to rethink the whole 'hanging on to things' notion that I have. Change is good, change is necessary for growth, change is inevitable, therefore...change is GOOD!

So while at Trader Joe's I bought some 'Just Grilled Chicken Strips'. If you haven't tried them, I highly recommend them. I also bought some salmon. However, since my cooking skills are lacking, it was a prepackaged, frozen deal. I haven't made it yet, but will let you know how it all goes.

One final thought on this change...I am a carboholic! I am hoping that by snacking on chicken strips and eating salmon, I will decrease my carb intake, thus progressing the weight shedding process!

Yup, change is good!
